A: Team Impulse is based in Watford, Hertfordshire, and we serve customers across the surrounding areas including St Albans, Hemel Hempstead, Harrow, and North London.

Q: Do you provide mobile installation services?
A: Yes. In addition to our Watford workshop, we offer mobile fitting for select services such as dash cams, trackers, and car audio upgrades, subject to location.

Q: Are your installations warranty-safe?
A: Yes. All installations are carried out using manufacturer-approved wiring methods and components, so your vehicle warranty remains intact.

Parking Sensors

Q: What types of parking sensors do you install?
A: We offer flush sensors for a factory-style finish and non-flush sensors for quick, cost-effective installation. Both provide accurate obstacle detection.

Q: Can you install sensors on any car?
A: Yes. We can fit sensors on most makes and models, including cars, vans, and fleet vehicles.

Car Audio & Entertainment

Q: Can you install Apple CarPlay or Android Auto in my car?
A: Yes. We supply and fit modern head units with CarPlay or Android Auto integration, even if your car didn’t come with it from the factory.

Q: Do I need to replace my speakers to improve sound?
A: Not always. A head unit upgrade may be enough, but for best results we recommend pairing it with high-performance speakers and optional amplifiers.

Vehicle Security & Immobilisers

Q: Do you fit Thatcham-approved immobilisers and alarms?
A: Yes. We install a wide range of Thatcham Category 1 and S5/S7-approved systems, suitable for insurance requirements.

Q: What’s the difference between an immobiliser and a tracker?
A: An immobiliser prevents the car from starting without the correct key or fob, while a tracker provides real-time GPS monitoring to recover the vehicle if stolen.

Dash Cams

Q: Do dash cams record while the car is parked?
A: Yes. Many of our dash cams include parking mode with motion or impact detection.

Q: Can I view my footage on my phone?
A: With Wi-Fi enabled dash cams, you can view and download footage instantly using a mobile app.

Tracking Systems

Q: Are your trackers insurance approved?
A: Yes. We install S5 and S7 trackers, which are Thatcham-approved and often required by insurers for high-value vehicles.

Q: Do I need a subscription for a tracker?
A: Yes. Trackers use a SIM for real-time updates and alerts. Subscription costs vary, but we offer competitive annual plans.

Heated Seats

Q: Can heated seats be fitted in any vehicle?
A: Yes. We can retrofit heated seat kits into most makes and models, including fabric and leather seats.

Q: How long does heated seat installation take?
A: Typically 1–2 hours for front seats, longer for full-vehicle installations.
